HANGAR - The Jungle Takeover

Get February 11th in your diary right now - HANGAR has got a night in store that will write off every pointless resolution you made this year.

After making our stamp last year with some of the messiest nights that we've seen in jump up HANGAR is straight back on it in 2011 with the rinse out Jungle Takeover party. This year is gonna get started on a fresh diet of dangerous and dark jungle flavours - no better way to tear into a another decade than by rolling back to the oldest school of drum and bass.

Jungle Jam is coming straight from the Beaverworks to Room Two at Stinky's just to provide HANGAR with some extra jungle rhythms. With their crew of Leeds' biggest jungle DJs tearing it up in Room Two, jungle heavyweight Blade Runner up in Room One and an exclusive Old Skool Jungle set from headliner Kane, any junglist or junglista in Leeds will be getting their filthiest of natty skanks on in Stinky's this February.

Our venue with its banging Funktion-One soundsystem, cheap drinks promotions and the best smoking area in Leeds in untestable. Our music policy continues to bang out more quality artists for your money in one night, all playing their prime sets for a true underground night. And our crowd is guaranteed to bring the best atmosphere you're ever likely to find in jump up or jungle.



Room One

KANE (Old Skool Jungle Set)
Winner of the Drum and Bass Awards 2008 and known as something of a ferocious mixer, Kane is on point so show us exactly how shit went down in 1995 with an exclusive set.

From his Birmingham based record shop to his work on the Muzik Hertz record label there isn't a lot stopping this man from tearing up any set of decks he lays his hands on.

Room Two

TAKEOVER ---- JUNGLE JAM

Room Two is about to see an injection of pure jungle magic from the biggest night for the genre in town. After running at the Beaverworks for a number of years and gaining a reputation and the be-all and end-all of jungle nights in Leeds, it seems only right that the nights can collaborate on a celebration of jungle and its influence on everything that is drum and bass. SubDub linchpin EXODUS is teaming up with VOX to provide a special jungle flavour set, while Radio Frequecey Stars ANTIX and VECTA come together for a back to back set. Along with Jam regulars SHOCK, IAMJUGLE, PESK and USUAL SUSPECTZ, this room is set to roll out the purest and oldest records of the drum and bass catalog.
