A National bank holiday means no work, so we're bringing you a celebration you won't forget, a 14 hour long outdoor terrace party, with a royal touch! Expect the usual crazy Nest atmosphere but outside and for longer,it’s not only the royal wedding it’s more importantly Nest’s 1st Birthday.
Its been an amazing year or so for us at Nest. Starting out from hosting tiny, exclusive afterparties we’ve gone on to play some of the best clubs in the U.K and even Ibiza. We’ve brought you some of the finest underground talent from all over the world, and this month is no exception...
The Duo consist of Matteo Milleri & Carmine Conte aka DC10 Resident Karm! Their productions at the forefront of contemporary music, with their live sets integrating sounds from Tech, Disco, house and even rock. The first full debut release of the duo will be out on 'Visionquest' (Label of Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves & Lee Curtiss) in Spring 2011 whilst tracks already appear on labels such as 'Cocoon' and 'Life & Death'. The Duo are Infamous for their 2010 collaborations with 'Visionquest' label mates Shaun Reeves & Ryan Crosson.
Most famously the duo are behind arguably one of the best tracks of 2010 with their remix of Thugfucker – Disco Gnome. The Duo are tipped for sucess by one of the worlds greatest Dj's: Seth Troxler and will have their very own E.P on Visionquest003. With them playing at the World Music Conference in Miami it’s going to be nothing short of a pleasure to have them jet over, fresh to the teeth with the latest tunes!
Supporting Tale of us we only saw it fitting to bring back the man who was with us from the very first nest, Miguel Campbell. His incredible performance for Nest at the last ‘Cosmic Boogie’ with Derrick Carter was nothing short of incredible. Since then the 12 months for Miguel have truly been remarkable, his name making shockwaves throughout the industry. With support from Soul Clap, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss and a greatly anticipated album which has been scheduled on one of the top labels around in ‘Hot Creations.’ His hard work, determination and unique blend of the French House & Disco are certainly paying off. After smashing the the last courtyard party to smitherines, we expect nothing less this time round, with his love & light vibes shining over everyone outside.
What better way than to celebrate a birthday than with close friends & family.We have invited our good friends Butterside up & Flux to host the second room, both have been making a name for themselves in the city and defiantly brands to watch.
